Evana Network seeks to employ a full time Executive Director to provide leadership to the organization and its 40+ congregations. 

Evana Network's mission is to start and strengthen local churches for community engagement. Evana’s theological center is the Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective, 1995. Our vision is to see local churches focus on community transformation by deeply engaging with the local community; seeing God's heart of love for broken people; and responding with healing presence, radical hospitality, and strategic compassion.

Evana's congregations are centered in northern Indiana and northeast Ohio, but stretch from Iowa to Maryland and Ontario to Florida. The main office is located in Goshen, IN with mobile staff in four other states. 

Required Qualifications:


Qualified candidates will be a leader who passionately loves God will all of his or her heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loves and cares for their neighbors in ways that will draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Qualified candidates will: 

  1. Maintain a consistent devotional life of prayer and Bible study, 
  2. Demonstrate the evidence of the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23),
  3. Have evidence of God’s call on their life and meet the qualifications of an elder given in 1 Timothy 3:1-13, Titus 1:6-9, and 1 Peter 5:2-3, 
  4. Embody observable Christ-like behavior with family, friends, and community, and 
  5. Possess a personal history of fulfilling Jesus’ Great Commission.
  6. Possess a deep commitment to Evana Network's covenant.
Skills & Educational Background

Qualified candidates will have: 

  1. A master's degree or higher in theology or business administration,
  2. Preaching and teaching skills, 
  3. Previous experience in leadership and management, 
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of Anabaptist theology,
  5. Basic computer and technology skills.

A qualified candidate must be a team builder who is: 

  1. A strong leader who models, equips, and inspires others, 
  2. Able to clearly communicate a compelling vision for the network, and 
  3. Able to relate to and build relationships with diverse cultures both within and outside Evana.
Primary Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership and supervision to the business and ministry of the network.
  2. Lead the network in accomplishing the vision and priorities defined by the board,
  3. Communicate the vision and calling of Evana and preach in a variety of public settings.
  4. Annually provide the board with clear, measurable goals for the network,
  5. Make strategic connections and travel to meet with and speak with partners/members of the network and with potential partners/members.
  6. Provide administrative leadership to the staff.
